WW2 Military Deutsches Heer Style Longines Watch, c.1945

From the outset, let me state that this is not a Deutsches Heer issue Longines, however, it is a genuine WW2 Longines watch, which certainly makes a good doppelganger for the coveted German Army version.

Presented in very good to excellent original condition, this Longines has the same 12.68 calibre ebauche as used in the DH watch. Additionally, the waterproof steel case is numbered on both the back and the lug, with matching digits. It features a luminous black dial and has a gilt finished movement that is in clean condition, looking bright and generally untouched. It is running very well and keeping time.

Overall, a pleasing military-styled Longines that is a fraction of the price of a DH marked counterpart.
