WW2 Barr & Stroud Royal Navy Submariner's Binoculars

An untouched pair of Admiralty Pattern binoculars designed for submarine and surface craft use, where the glare from the sea was a potential hindrance to effective binoculars use, hence the addition of 4 built-in filters.

Made for the Royal Navy by Barr & Stroud, these WW2 binoculars show no sign of use and are mould free but, while they can be used presently, the optics show signs of age and would benefit from cleaning to brighten the image. Collimation is good and lenses are undamaged.
Likewise, the leather case despite its age, is in a remarkable state of preservation.
