WW2 Air Ministry King's Crown Pocket Watch
A rare, early WW2 pocket watch with King's Crown and Air Ministry marking, complete with a wartime period leather fob. Supplied by the jeweller, "Pringle", to aid the war effort, their name was added to the case back prior to issue.
This is an original example used by the RAF, which show light signs of service wear, yet it remains in excellent condition. Even the celluloid crystal is the original, which has aged with amber hues but the enamel dial itself has survived in pristine order together with the blue-steel hands.
Presented in working order, this watch will be fully serviced before dispatch. As with all my serviced watch items, great care is taken to retain the age patina - only the dirt is removed making these watches superb items to collect and use.
