WW2 Military Signal Lantern c.1944

A good military issue signal lantern, made by G. Eastgate & Son and dated "1944". The lantern shows little or no sign of use and although the inner lamp has surface oxidisation and rust, the original black enamel surfaces appear to be in unmarked condition. All glass, including the red and green filters, is perfect. Generally, there is no sign of the lantern having ever being lit as the wick is clean and the reservoir shows no sign of filling.
