WW2 Smiths GSTP Watch

A good example of a rare early WW2 military pocket watch, made in England by Smiths. In keeping with War Department requirements, these 15 jewel GSTP watches were of good quality. Still, almost the entire production of Smiths was concentrated on delivering stopwatches and instrument clocks, which makes these very hard to find.

Presented in good order, the watch is running well and keeping time. Cosmetically, the watch shows signs of service wear but remains in unrestored original condition. A great opportunity to add an English timepiece to your military collection.
