Vintage Cutlery / Pistol Box

An old but attractive cutlery box ready to be repurposed to hold a pair of pistols or a quality mid-size revolver. Presented in good condition, the box exudes quality workmanship, with its brass reinforced corners and escutcheons, together with an English made and patented lock, but missing its key, plus some minor loss of veneer.

Internally, the case has dark blue velour and silk lining, maker-marked "Union Case". The base is trimmed with a dark green baise.
