ZMW Militaria are pleased to announce our new watch project that will fill a need among pocket watch enthusiasts.

Introducing a pocket watch holder designed to transform your military GSTP into a handsome, oversized wristwatch, without the need to alter your vintage watch.

If you have ever thought of wearing your beloved pocket watch on your wrist, you wouldn't be the first. Military historians know that soldiers have been innovating ways to strap pocket watches to their wrists since before World War I. Even the War Department has documents from WW2 that show similar plastic "wrist" watch holders being worn by Special Forces. However, whether any were actually produced in quantity is unknown, as no examples exist. Only the plastic instrument panel holders survive in any number.

Working from archived material, ZMW Militaria has designed a way of strapping your favourite GSTP watch to your wrist without spoiling the originality of your timepiece. Assisted by a talented engineer and the services of an MOD tailor, the original wartime instrument panel case has been reimagined to produce a modern, sympathetic rendition that can be worn on the wrist, either pendant up, down or to either side.
