WW1 British Army Issue Monocular c.1914

An early and rare WW1 monocular, probably issued to the British Expeditionary Force.

At a time when optics were in short supply, monoculars such as this one, were purchased from the French maker, Hunsicker. Marked as a "Mon. Prism. No.1 Mk 1", this is a genuine item with good lenses but having some internal dust. Issue marked with broad arrow. A useable item.
